Dr. Rushina Cholera is a pediatrician and health services researcher at Duke University dedicated to ensuring that all children and families have equitable access to the care and opportunities they need to thrive. Her work focuses on strengthening integration across the systems that support families from pregnancy through childhood. Through a research and innovation portfolio that includes large-scale transformation efforts such as NC Integrated Care for Kids (NC InCK) and the Duke Maternal and Early Childhood Health Initiative, Dr. Cholera brings together community voices, system leaders, and policymakers to align priorities and translate them into meaningful, evidence-informed action. She is driven by the belief that lasting improvements in health and wellbeing are possible when families, communities, and the systems that serve them work toward a shared vision for change.
