Jekisha Elliott, MHA, CD-L, is a dedicated leader and the Assistant Director for the Program Evaluation Team, where she brings expertise in strategic planning, staff development, and comprehensive program assessment. Known for her commitment to operational excellence, Ms. Elliott oversees critical functions including onboarding, coaching, hiring, contract monitoring, and team building. With a passion for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement, she ensures that program evaluations are impactful and aligned with organizational goals. Her collaborative approach and focus on quality help drive meaningful outcomes and contribute to the sustainable growth and effectiveness of the programs she supports. With a broad and impactful career in health policy and administration, she has contributed to major initiatives, including the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid expansion in Maryland, and the development of programs focused on the Medicare population.

In addition to her work in healthcare administration, Ms. Elliott is a certified birth and labor doula, providing compassionate emotional and physical support to birthing individuals and their families. With four years of experience, she brings expertise in childbirth education and calm birth meditation, reflecting her deep commitment to maternal health and well-being.

A Virginia native, Ms. Elliott holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hampton University and a Master’s in Health Administration from The George Washington University.
