Founder and CEO

Meg Powell is a board director, executive leader, and entrepreneur in life science and healthcare, with a passion for bringing promising new technologies to market and elevating businesses that make a significant impact on human health.

Throughout her career, Powell has led major programs in high-profile roles at Fortune 100 companies such as GlaxoSmithKline and Eli Lilly. She has also founded and scaled startups, including TARGET RWE, which pioneered an entirely new market for syndicated real-world evidence while delivering significant returns for investors.

Most recently, she co-founded and established 501 Ventures, a life science accelerator and venture fund. Her board service includes Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, RTI International Research Institute, and Emergo Therapeutics.
